American English is, in and of itself, a "butchered," slang-heavy form of British English. Has been since hundreds of years before hip hop started.

No. It's been used for ~200 years and "real" English has been used for ~1500. Meaning they're comparatively similar in the grand scheme of things.

American English is already ghettoised, butchered, dumbed down and almost unintelligible. And 20 and 200 are not very different from one another in the context of 1500. and are you as angry about southern accents/midwest accents?
