Is the Purple Heart awarded to those with ptsd? If no... isn’t that an injury as well? Why is physical damage greater than psychological?

No. There is a movement to include PTSD as a qualifying injury for the PH. But, PTSD and even some with TBI have been denied.

To be clear, I think PTSD should be eligible for the PH.

Navy claims his condition wasn't severe enough for medical attn & that contact was not in response to enemy but a voluntary inspection of a weapons cache. Foxwell disputes both claims.
