Australia is a great place because it is not overcrowded. In recent years the standard of living has plummeted with high density living and the mining boom. Those resources can last those of us who live here a very long time. We are not obliged to give them away, waste them OSeas

Actually i was referring to a business concept (Supply and Demand) the demand for manpower in Australia is high according to this study and should be increased in order to make the country continue thriving.

Are we talking Immigration or Illegal Immigration? Also, is this IMF report a nod to, "see, this is what could happen in the U.S." Yeah....it's the same thing - not.

We dont like high density living, overcrowding, reduced standard of living, devalued $. When government & banks say growth, they mean debt issuance. You in debt, worth more on paper, but with a lot less value for money. Living within our means is higher standard of living.
