Legislator after legislator talked about a dire affordable-housing crisis that demanded bold action and a marked increase in new building. Then they killed the bill.https://nyti.ms/2qLxaaf

Good. Too much development. Too much traffic. Crowded schools. We don't have the infrastructure.

So San Fran & Cali should stop growing and progressing because YOU think there's too much traffic / crowded schools...nokay! I hope someone builds a casino next to your prescious house...you have no idea what's going on do you. There's NO new housing in this state for the future.pic.twitter.com/t6IuJij4DL

A one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work in California. This bill would have radically changed the landscape of smaller cities.

That's the problem. Mountain View & Cupertino should not be "smaller cities". Actual small towns have nothing to worry about from this bill. No one is looking to build high rises in Tracy

#California and affordable housing only go in the same sentence if used like this "California has very limited affordable housing and has no plans on adding more anytime soon. We suggest San Bernardino County and cities like: Barstow, Needles, and Apple Valley. You're welcome!"

Want more affordable housing breakup the largest banks into 3 or more equal pieces each and bring back Glass Steagall, other financial regulations that existed before Savings and Loans Crisis. About 50 percent of nation's capital controlled by the largest banks.
