The Supreme Court struck down a law that allowed the government to deport some immigrants who commit serious crimes, saying it was unconstitutionally vaguehttps://nyti.ms/2JVFSLB

Of course it was “vague.” (Just like everything else Trump says.)

Thanks Neil for being the only conservative judge to vote with the far left judges on the Supreme Court. Neil has done some good things but to make it harder than it already is to deport citizens of foreign nations in our country illegally who committed other crimes is nonsense

Or write laws that arent unconstitutional that accomplish this goal. Its really not that hard to understand.

Trump picked the judge who had the deciding vote, now he cannot say that Democrats are preventing him from making America great again. This judge seems to have some scruples that still follows good judgment.

I voted for Trump, I supported Gorsuch. My expectation is that they follow and interpret the law, not make law. I'm ok with their decision, now i just have to get my representatives to do their damn job.

That is the point, the judge does his job, not that he goes and interprets the law so it appeases Trump. It seems like with each passing day, his administration is becoming unglued at the seams.

As if drug trafficking...gang murders & money-laundering & more wasn't specific enough? DEATH PENALTY is much cheaper & better

The death penalty is actually much more expensive than life in prison with our current legal system.

that's because of the appeal process which would also become obsolete because of the technology of evidence.

We have the ability to convict criminals...way more than beyond a shadow of a doubt. Let's not doubt the death penalty.

Just to clarify, you think that technology is good enough to deny the accused the right to an appeal if they think they did not receive a fair trial/verdict?

We have just found out that jurists are being put through "facial recognition" while serving for trials.

I am tired of all news media (same on @USATODAY headline for this story) referring to Justice Gorsuch as joining "liberals" as though each Justice is either "liberal" on ALL issues or "conservative" on ALL issues. Our world is polarized enough and people are not monolithic.

While correct on the law, there is a perverse glee on the left in violent felons remaining in US. Not smart.
