I didn’t want to believe that Comey was “slippery,” but now he’s gone too far. President Trump is the most honest man ever to hold public office, he is a lifelong champion of women’s rights, and his former employees give him glowing reviews. This is nothing short of treason.

I have a complicated relationship with @Comey. I'm super hurt and angry about what he did to Hillary Clinton, and to the rest of the world by extension, but at least he's speaking the truth now. 😕

Agreed. I feel he should’ve kept the wiener email stuff quiet until he was sure there was something to report, but owning his missteps reminds me that he is true Patriot and I 100% believe every word he says.

To be fair, he does address that: sure the timing screwed Clinton, but the moment the FBI starts considering who they hurt by announcing their own investigations, they aren't impartial anymore.

The FBI as a standard rule does not announce/discuss investigations. The fact that Comey broke from that standard means he was in fact playing politics.

Also, since he chose to disclose information on the Clinton investigation, he should likewise have disclosed that there was one being conducted into the Trump campaign as well. All or nothing. He helped Trump become president.

I think he addressed that but I forget what he said. I'm conflicted because I think on one hand by that time most had made up their minds, but I see the other side of it too. Whether or not I agree w/his choice, I find his candor & honesty to be refreshing and should be respected

I think you should read @SethAbramson and his take on why Comey was bullied into breaking protocol. I agree he is honest and has served our nation faithfully. Ultimately, he would have better served and been better off following standard protocol.
