Dear @Starbucks, Why hasn’t the employee been fired yet? Why hasn’t the employee been fired yet? Why hasn’t the employee been fired yet? Why hasn’t the employee been fired yet? Why hasn’t the employee been fired yet? Why hasn’t the employee been fired yet?

What the employee did was so stupid. But police still arresting the two men is the bigger issue. The police should have turned their attention to the employees for wasting police time

The men were trespassing. Police arrested them for trespassing. Simple as that

Trespassing? So it’s okay to wait for friends in a public establishment if you are white, but for black men it’s considered trespassing in your little crazy world??

When an employee tells you to leave the business and you refuse, you are trespassing. That’s literally what trespassing is. You can call it my “crazy little world” all you want, but that’s the actual law.

Starbucks’ CEO said there was no reason for this to have happened and issued an apology. You can read his remarks here:http://buzz.blog.ajc.com/2018/04/16/starbucks-chief-addresses-controversial-arrest-on-gma/ …

Let’s get Starbucks out of the picture. Fox types are pushing the whole blame on Starbucks because they hate their overall record on social issues. The real focus needs to be on law enforcement, drunk with power now that they have support from Orange in the Oval.

Agreed. Police need better training and should have talked to employees to figure out why exactly they were called out

The police aren't without blame. Thr could have asked them to leave or escorted them off the premises. Arresting them makes the police just as guilty as the person who called.

This isn’t the national tragedy it’s being made to be. It’s literally an unfortunate misunderstanding with terribly bad optics. The employee should be fired, or at least punished. But is there any evidence the call was racially motivated? Not much that I can see.

And I know plenty of black people who go to Starbucks on a daily basis, and yet they’ve never been arrested 🤔 Starbucks is not a racist company. The employee should be punished, but to act as if this reflects on a multinational company is a stretch.

So explain to me, should Starbucks have a screening process for every single low wage employee that they hire which includes a racism aspect? They’re producing coffee, not changing the world for a better place.
