It’s a nuisance. An ineffective and unsafe public transport system borne out of government failure to meet transport needs of rapidly expanding urban settlements. It’s time to stop glamorizing failure.
-
Relax.... Nganyas ain't for everyone... you're ever free to use personal means
-
And I do. But I have been to countries with a working public system, where CEOs, ministers and even prime ministers use the train or other public means of transport. We as a country deserve better. We need public transport that everyone can take safely. That’s what I’m saying.
-
Oh please. Take an uber or taxify then lol. Matatu culture is here to stay so just accept it...It is unique to Kenya and there is no public transport culture as vibrant and artistic in the world like it anywhere.pic.twitter.com/OEviPMbHrv

"Matatu culture" is not limited to the wonderful artwork on matatus. It includes reckless driving and impunity on the roads. But hey, go ahead and see only the side that makes you happy.
-
Drunk driving causes most accident in Kenya bruv tf. Take an Uber or Taxify or board a city hoppa. But stop acting like Mats cause most accidents when you don't have the facts lol.
-
Who said anything about the most accidents?
-
Still waiting. LOL, see this is the problem with typing away to respond instead of understanding first, acting like javs haven't killed people on our roads including kids is prime ignorance, and let's have your facts in numbers since you seem to be more informed.

I’ve had near death experiences riding a matatu. They drive like a bat out of hell.

They also completely lack discipline as an industry and needlessly kill people.
