The Pentagon said it took out the "heart" of Syria's chemical arms program, but acknowledged that President Assad might still have such weaponshttps://nyti.ms/2GVsFoa

Those same missiles could have taken out every radar dish in Syria. But blasting empty buildings after warning Russia (who warned Syria) to remove people and assets just bumped up stock prices for Raytheon and Lockheed-Martin. It moved Assad no closer to the exit.

They were given plenty of advance notice. I just cant imagine they were dumb enough to leave everything to be bombed. Its a win /win. POTUS looks tough, Assad continues his war, Allies look like humanitarians, Russians continue their power projection. Situation doesn't change.

Assad didn't even use chemical weapons at his worst time. He is stupid? :) to use them while he wins now?... These chemical attack claims by USA and allies Whenever Assad succeds something a bit more on site. ....pic.twitter.com/btPfvTeLuN

He also said that last year he destroyed 20% of the syrian airforce. That was and still is a lie. He repeated the lie again last night.

It begs the question if we knew these targets existed over the years why the hell didn’t the US, France, UK, or rebels fighting against Assad take them out a year ago, 2years ago, 3years ago... chemical weapon production capability should’ve been destroyed after 1st attack.
