Fireman's Ball still makes me smile and Cuckoo's Nest ranks as one of the best films of all time. Forman's handling of ensemble acting on par with Coppola's Godfather. RIP Mr. Forman

Loves of a blonde is also a masterpiece. The scene in the bed with parents and their son is fantastic.

I used to study about Miloš Forman in college, that's how important he was. The layers of greatness of his masterpieces - Hair, Amadeus, One flew over Cuckoo's nest, Man on the moon. One of the great ones left us.

Glad to see Hair mentioned. A great movie that captured an era.

..Cuckoo's Nest is good, but Barry Lyndon and Dog Day Afternoon were robbed in 1976, man!

Barry Linden! Interesting factoid: When you remember that movie in paintings, it's because every scene began with extended still framing. Beautiful movie.

The film is a 3 hr painting with a pulse. Special lenses constructed by NASA in order to film the interior night scenes. All scenes lit by natural light sources. It's my favorite Kubrick film.

Well put. The lighting was so perfect. It still stands out to me as one of the most beautiful films ever made.

As we mourn and remember Milos Foreman, I'd say Amadeus and Barry Lyndon are two of the most painstakingly thorough period films ever made. Truthful and honest in depicting a time past. RIP Powerful Milos Forman

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Amadeus are masterpieces. I was a kid when my parents drag me to see what I thought it would be a very boring film about Mozart. I was so amazed by the film, that I saw it 3 more times in less than a month. RIP Mr. Milos Forman, one of best.

RIP Milos Forman. I was fortunate to see One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest as an 11 year old when it came out. It was great then and it is great now. Milos was a brilliant filmmaker. His work lives on but he will be missed.
