I'm human. I don't like plastic. Is it humans fault? Or is it the corporations and the governments? Why is plastic cheap? shouldn't it be taxed so it is too expensive to produce. THINK PEOPLE

Corporations and governments are run by humans. And I’m one of the billions of willing consumers who doesn’t give enough thought to the impacts of my consumption and my choices. Plenty of blame to go around

When will we learn ? This is one millionth of the death toll plastic causes. Don’t buy food in plastic containers -let the store owners know it’s just not right.

That just makes me cry. We have got to pay attention to our world. It is so fragile and so precious. I know I sound like some kind of tree hugging liberal. Whatever. We still need to take care of this 🌏

And what's wrong with that? You couldn't be more correct in thought an in heart. This is a beautiful world, one we do not "own" and she sure is in dire need of some "tree hugging" 💗

We can thank greedy corporate America + the corrupt politicians who help them destroy this planet + these beautiful creatures. If you see any plastic bags, straws, cups ANYTHING, pick it up + put it in a recycle bin save an animal help try to save the planet, we could be too late

In America we can do better always! Though interestingly 5 countries in Asia contribute almost 60% of the current plastic dumping. So what can we do?

It’s a terrible situation. The only thing we can really do is whatever we can. It takes a village. You can’t control other countries or other human beings you can only control yourself. If you look around you’ll see plastic everywhere. My heart weeps for the animals +the planet.

Just like this thousands of sea creatures get effected by the mess we make. Be it turtles, fish, sharks or any other creature you name it! It is our fault that earth is dying. We should change our habits to make it better.

True but the irony is we tried to save the rainforest and trees in general by creating plastic now we have the consequences of plastic. Everything in moderation and with responsibility. We should make change when we become aware not when it becomes a problem #Hindsight

Agreed! We have been so busy with urbanization that we forgot that everything we do comes with a consequence and now these innocent animals are dying. And now every other person is telling that we are destroying our land but they are not changing their habits.
