The lawmakers questioning Mark Zuckerberg this week are like many of us: They don’t trust Facebook, but they aren’t ready to quit ithttps://nyti.ms/2ILAXvy

The very first day you went on line....20, 30 years ago....you started giving up your privacy.

Take a look at the lack of privacy all citizens are presently facing. It's not only Facebook. It's every website, search engine, and service provider. We pay for Verizon and ATT, and they still sell our info.

The lawmakers are old and have no idea what's a Facebook. Watching that was embarrassing.

This is a waste of money, time and the volume of coverage makes it 1 of the most over hyped overrated issues. Privacy and personal information are not realistic ideas.

Wrong there. I shut my account the day That idiot @realDonaldTrump got elected. NOT because of privacy but because it spreads fake news. I do not miss it AT ALL. I encourage others to do the same!

Life is the orbiting of existence along courses that set themselves based on the collective experience of said existence for now we are coursing the days of a breathing oppression and if we EVER hope to discourse this oppression we must first REVOLT the course..

They may also realize that if they are not wiling to regulate who can receive the info and restrictions on sharing, storing and correctimg it there is no point. CCambridge Analytica still has our info and Cong doesn't seem to care what they are doing with it.

Add it to the list of who we don't trust. Equifax etal, banks, Wall Street, telemarketers, hacked retailers, politicians, DHS. Privacy has been under assault for years. Why does Congress pretend to care now?
