The biggest obstacle to regulating Facebook is not Congress’s lack of computer literacy, which gave Zuckerberg the upper hand this weekhttps://nyti.ms/2GWGB1m

Great, just what America needs, bigger government, more spending and increased intrusion in our lives.

Would you prefer that tech companies sell your information to advertisers and God knows who else willy-nilly?

No, but competition would force those with questionable or terrible customer service, out of business. Already Facebook has suffered financially for this screw up. Trust me, I'm no fan of Zuckerberg.

How Facebook conducts business is not the business of a deceitful Congress.

This is when you know that your congress is to old to be in office. Ways of life change and they are outdated. #TermLimit

The monopoly question was interesting. As the biggest publisher, one would think facebook is legally responsible for content on their platform. But they are not. Regardless of the complexity of the technology, lawmakers should know how the law applies.

It wasn't a lack of computer literacy, but a lack of preparedness. It almost looked like the senators thought they could get away with bs since they wielded power

Stupid headline coming from the failing New York Slimes. Zuckerberg had the upperhand but no more. He's expendable as head of an org ran in background by the CIA which also funded you in propaganda disinformation to convince the US to go to vietnam war, Iraq, etc.

Internet Regulation by our government for the benefit of ALL CITIZENS must be done in an independent & objective manner... To effectively do that will require a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT voted into law by WE THE PEOPLE. Politicians cannot be trusted, too many special interests.
