We have to do a better job of protecting our young black girls. They are the most vulnerable group in our society.

Why is that?

The real questions are, why was this person ever allowed to work in schools around children with his criminal record, and why was he released on bail after he was accused of rape?
-
And even after he has been charged with murder and the sexual assault of multiple minors he still gets a cash bond, what is wrong with the courts in Michigan, someone like this should Always be denied bond.

Yet another reason why women may be hesitant to report rape.

"Why she didn't tell the cops" "she should've speak up sooner" Victims are scared because things like this happen to them.

Exactly why, "Why didn't she say something?" Is a BS argument against rape and assault victims. Among other social and psychological blocks that victims need to overcome to go public with such personal information.

Omg. This is the saddest, most infuriating story I’ve heard in awhile. Seems like a $100k bond for rape (of a minor at that) is too low.

This is an extreme tragedy! Why have we not heard about this before?!
-
Do you want an honest answer or one that won't make you feel bad? Honest question.
-
It was a hypothetical question. I'm outraged that Americans would rather hear about the mentally ill behavior of a person who should not be president rather than two horrific crimes against a young black girl. This beautiful girl will never have her dreams realized. Am I close?
-
Nail. Head. Hit. It posses me off and breaks my heart that we have to fight this hard just be seen as relevant if empathy and outrage. This little girl was victimed three times (racist-government-rapist/murderer) and now, she is still not going to get justice.
-
I don't know what the answer is, but if everyone opens their minds and hearts and keeps talking, maybe we'll find a solution soon.
