Is that an implication that Full sized baseball bats would have been the more logical decision???

just less hilarious than the thought of Lilliputian weaponry in an thoroughly ludicrous situation
-
I just want to applaud you on the use of “Lilliputian.” I think a Brobabdignogian bat would be perfect.

Aye, a bit of Jonathan Swift is unfortunately too cromulent these days

The bats are rediculous. Our school officer, Jeff, is great for watching out for potential fights or some Juuling, but will he be able to deal w an AR15? I don't know. I'd rather just prevent the situation.

In a perfect world we needn't have security or arms for self protection.
But we are imperfect beings living in an imperfect world. -
We don't actually need to as is. 70% of the country is unarmed by choice and that's not going anywhere. It's not like most of the country is begging for more guns. Even with access they just choose not to have them...and being unarmed isn't exactly killing them off.
-
Statistically the large majority of our crime is directed at other crime. Something like a gang war where both sides are equally armed. Yes crossfire exists and yes bad things happen...but murder rates have been dropping for decades. It's getting better not worse.
