Lost in the drama of congressional hearings is an understanding of the extent to which Facebook meticulously scrutinizes users’ online liveshttps://nyti.ms/2HskbSp

Are the women and men of the House more tech-savvy than those who serve in the Senate? If not, today's hearing will be as big a waste of time as yesterday's was.

Can you imagine as a business owner being grilled for days in front of #BrokenCongress & millions.Really a waste of taxpayer money & a complete witch hunt. No one person should have to indure grilling for days-repeating basically the same thing over for each person. #BetterWays

It is good when Congress performs its necessary and proper oversight function & investigates large corporations when their systems fail to adequately protect their customers' privacy. My greatest concern though is that like much of what happens in DC this is largely theatrical.

I'm almost certain Zuckerberg's been given muscle relaxants to hide much of his anxiety. It's difficult to keep up a calm demeanor like this for so long, especially when you're already not great with public speaking.
