Is @nytimes in the pocket of the oil industry?

It's quite a positive article. Might want to read it before jumping to conclusions and falling flat.pic.twitter.com/ItudUcz0EV

No, it just seems positive. I have found several negative spins when they posted it a day or two ago: 1. The price for a Model 3 is $35k. The features cost extra. That's why the car in the article is more expensive. The article implies Tesla lied about the price. ...
-
2. It starts with the Model X accident implying the Autopilot caused it. All the way at the end of the article it says that the hands have to be on the wheele during Autopilot. But it doesn't specifically refer to the aforementioned Model X accident. Facts at the wrong place. ..

To be fair it’s not just NYT that seems anti Tesla...there seems to be a wish (from some quarters) to see Elon Musk fail. I believe it’s in the worlds best interests to see him succeed.
-
I think it's the oil AND the whole car industry. It's like
@elonmusk is fighting against windmills. 99% of articles floating around are against Tesla. There are only a few positive ones. It's heartbreaking.

Tesla is a joke played on the American taxpayers to the tune of $7,500 of taxpayer subsidy given to Elon Musk for each car sold. That’s right folks, you have given your hard earned money to each and every relatively wealthy Tesla driver. I am sure they will thank you.
-
Nope. It's an incentive to buy electric cars in general. It's not about Tesla. There are other car brands with electric cars. Facts matter. Do some research. Feel free to move to a completely smog infested city and whine about taxpayer's money while dying slowly and painfully.
-
Tesla would not exist as a company without the subsidies. That would not be true of the other companies involved. A second issue is that despite the subsidies Elon Musk is unable to pull it together. The third issue is the environmental harm over time of the battery technology.
-
General Motors went bankrupt in 2008, other car companies almost followed after the financial crisis in 2008. The government gave them bail out money which they never had to pay back. The American car industry would be dead without the government. Your argument doesn't work.
-
I take the environmental harm of batteries over the environmental harm of oil/fossil fuel any day. Electric cars are in their baby shoes and need further development/inventions. The fossil fuel industry is harming the environment so much more and it's not evolving from that.
-
Elon Musk is pulling it together. That's the issue here. Media reports are against Tesla (probably influenced buy oil money) so they don't report on all the good news/development of Tesla. Elon is producing Model 3 like a mad man, according to the media he has trouble producing.
-
Yes, during the last week of every month. Unfortunately he is unable to do that every week. Things are so bad he is sleeping on the factory floor. Not a good sign.
-
He's always been sleeping on factory floors when factories were upgraded, new Models were rolled out or other problem's accured. He also camped on the roof. It's because he works late, no time for hotels. He doesn't have an office there. He's determined to make it to 5k per week.
