        Devil’s advocacy isn’t dying through the fault of the DAs themselves. Society has become so arrogant that people have no patience or tolerance for opposing thought. If you think differently than me, not only are you wrong but you’re a bad person. It’s toxic.

        Maybe the false objectivism that was introduced as son of the Devil's advocate made everyone sour on trying to see both sides. And then came the 'social platforms' that only encouraged and enabled anti-social behaviour and never made us better informed...

        Devil's advocate was supposed to be a difficult role that no one took pleasure in, since originally you were arguing against someone's sainthood. People today who gleefully say they are playing DA are simply trolls claiming to be truth tellers
