I’ll be honest, I was willing to take on some debt because I wanted my kids to have the same college experience I had, and loved. 8 years later, I still feel it was worth it. But, damn I wish the federal government didn’t charge the interest rates they do.

And that pisses me off more than almost anything else this administration has done. We need an educated populace and the student loan debt is a drain in every aspect.

Whenever I see vote statistics broken down by education demographics, I can’t help but think of all the ways this administration is defunding public education & making college even more financial burdensome. “I love the uneducated.” 🧐

That is exactly what I think every time I see the constant attempts to discredit and defund public education in favor of religious and politically charged charter/private schools.

Even at the collegiate level... Liberty has a massive endowment & 7th latest enrollment in US. One big indoctrination factory. *sigh*

Go to Germany to college for free. Many courses are offered in English. The german government knows that if only a fraction of graduates stays in the country for work after graduation it will have benefited Germany - not to underestimate any long-term benefits for the US.

🙄 Community college or the first two years of a 4 year are GE's.. a repeat of high school! Time to reorganize our education system! Shouldn't be wasting ANY money relearning the same information!

I attended a community college for my nursing degree because my parents could not afford to do so during the 2008 recession. I enjoyed the community college experience and had wonderful teachers. I learned a lot with the small class sizes, teachers willing to teach, an it’s cheap

Community collegb is a great way to take your general ed credits and transfer to a year four. It has saved us over 50,000 dollar per child.
