I agree with you. People can't just live their lives and if they don't like it, don't watch it...don't worry about it. It's like elementary school kids announcing who their new best friend is on the playground. DRAMA.

It's not the 1950's parading young women like meat. In a butcher's is 1950's clap trap

Maybe the women are willingly doing it and even enjoy it, think about it !

NY Giants don't have cheerleaders. We already know when to cheer and when to boo.

These women know what they are getting into long before they audition. They are cheerleaders and nothing more. They are not NFL players, they don't put their lives on the line nor are they subject to life changing injuries. No sympathy here whatsoever.

In 20 to 30 years Football will be no more. The next 2 generations of children, mothers will forbid them to play football. Mothers will be the downfall of football.

That's the line I'll never clearly understand. What is exploitive and what is empowering? It's a very grey area.

Do you think cheerleading is exploitive? I think how the NFL handles cheerleading is wrong, but if women enjoy doing it, they should be able to without shame. At the same time, the NFL needs to be held accountable.

How about get rid of cheerleaders? That would solve the problem of paying them nothing 4 doing nothing. Don’t support sexual stereotypes then complain about it. Those ridiculous rules are needed b/c women dressed up in next to nothing “cheering” for men’s athletics is ridiculous.

I have known DC cheerleaders. They definitely enjoy it and their husbands support them. To be a DC cheerleader opens lots of doors for career opportunities.
