*little benefit*is a lot if you are in the 10% who saw benefit in the Omega3 studies on heart disease. Research the research: limited study which DID show benefits in many cases Real story:Dr. gives lame opinion on limited research

This is a report on JAMA summary of various studies with no standard for Omega3 amounts & only diseased patients. Yet, every category favored supplementation (by small %) Another Dr.: "Supplementation is helpful in supplying vitamins and minerals" follow the links

I used to assume reporting was research, not shallow summaries of journals. It took me 10 minutes to find the truth on this

May be true. But as i myself dont have the time to cook and money to buy expensive clean food, i resorted to supplements. And yes, when almost the whole office were down with flu, i would be the last one standing. So im sticking to my supplement regime.

Unless your physician has told you you have a deficiency or you're going through physical changes (ie folate for pregnant women) there's one easy way to get everything you need: eat a varied diet.

i've always felt these things are a total joke. you should look at nutrition as the consumption of a BROAD variety of foods NOT focusing on indiv nutrients. i have a sneaky feeling most supplements are simply excreted away. so in the mouth, out as p or s!
