Speaking as a former history teacher, Albright is quite right. I do not believe tRump is intelligent enough to realize what he is doing to the country, but his presidency reflects many of the characteristics of a fascist leader- attacking the press, expecting total...

It's weird that a former history teacher doesn't know the difference between "attacking" the press and banning the press.

No fascist bans the press. First they stir up public dissent, usually by calling it fake news (or "lugenpresse", as Hitler would say), then the government takes it over & uses it to spread propaganda. The press is too valuable an asset for fascists to abolish.

Fake news has been around a lot longer than Trump. It's a part of the bias that has ruled media “forever” Nothing was stirred up, he just exposed the worst of them. Imo, stirring up dissent is what the press is doing, & the last half of your reply describes the previous admin.

The first president I heard utter the phrase "fake news" was Obama not Trump. Obama also created a secret police force that monitored the communications of private citizens. He locked up reporters and people who created YouTube videos. Obama was a fascist, not Trump.

I'm more curious on why Congress and Senate didn't do anything about the previous President who defended muslims over citizens?🤔

You literally just separated out “citizens” and “Muslims” into two separate groups in your tweet so, uh, that’s why.

Interesting as many will say they are one first before they are an American citizen. Many people will cast their ethnic origins as their primary over citizenship. You see it in the news when many are interviewed.
