Good for her for expressing view to @POTUS. Not impressive what her employer did. But I'm hard pressed to understand how termination of at-will PRIVATE employment violates her #1stAmendment rights. #RESIST #resistance

I've had many defense contractors fired bc govt manager decided they didn't like person any longer. Private employer then terminates employee to protect their contracts. Pretty pathetic but happens all the time & sadly not illegal. #resist #Resistance

Erm - she's suing for the severance pay that she's entitled to but never given. It's only $2,692 + the legal fees for this suit. It's not a 1st Amendment suit.

She's suing for wrongful termination for political activity. But she's only asking for those minimal damages, which is a very smart move.

What point. That she got fired for being a moron. Or the point that she now thinks that her actions were protected in some way. Because if she wins this lawsuit. Everyone who has been fired because of their online activities and bullied by the left now has a lawsuit.

Your country talks about "freedom" and "liberty". She's free to express her views. In fact, I believe your constitution grants her the rights to do so. Freedom of political expression and debate are necessary in a democracy.
