"How much hate did I get for being a transvestite? It's very, very high," Eddie Izzard said in 2013. "You know, if I can deal with that, then politics is easy."https://nyti.ms/2JgOmwE

it is only natural it runs for labour. Labour for covering up child rape gangs. Labour for imported pederastery and child grooming. Because in UK only a comedian can run for a party that "represents" working class families!

There's a difference between being a transvestite, and being transgender. Eddie Izzard is the former.

If he describes himself as a “straight transvestite”... why does the headline describe him as transgender?

It didn't matter that Eddie was a transvestite - cause he was brilliant at what he did. So on that note - he's an excellent role model. I don't know if I'd vote for him yet, but let's see what his policies are. I'm a bit allergic with celebrities trying to convert to politics.

I find it more than a little odd that man who says he is an Athiest and said "The extremists are scared of ideas. This is not Islam, this is just murder #JeSuisCharlie" and yet will run for the party that actively defends that religion when clearly that attack was all about islam
