Mentally challenged man, that EVERYONE in the neighborhood knew as mentally challenged- gets shot and killed for carrying a shower head? Is this Apartheid South Africa? Sure feels like it.

I agree with your sentiment but I think it’s important to remember he was mentally ILL with bipolar disorder; he wasn’t mentally or intellectually impaired, but he was probably very manic

I’m not a mental health professional so I can’t speak to victim’s particular mental malaise. What I do know is he was a unarmed black man, gunned down in broad daylight. Being manic, bipolar, or schizophrenic doesn’t matter.

Absolutely, in no way did I mean to defend the cops. I can’t imagine what it feels like to be black in America, but as someone with bipolar disorder and mental health issues in the family this is especially heartbreaking to me. Stay blessed

Another black eye for the police. Shoot first, ask questions later. Oops, you can't ask questions because he's dead!

Um... asking why so many young and innocent black men are shot by the police is a bit different than starting a riot. There are people who make it their lives’ missions to know the facts and make the riots.
