Many expensive drugs were invented in America — and yet we paid more than any other rich nation to use them ourselveshttps://nyti.ms/2GypCyh

Well when you have big pharma lining the pockets of politicians in the US it allows pharma to do what they want with pricing. Just look at the recent spats of price hiking. Not until the media starts reporting it does anyone in the government "look" like they are concerned.

Then in other countries where it seems to be a little more complex or harder for the US pharma companies to get their way you magically have lower prices and more competitive market. They say its RnD cost this and that. But its only America they make pay for it.

The doctors should learn nutrition and prescribe a Whole food plant based diet #wfpb. This is by far the safest, cheapest, better healthy treatment for all the primary causes of death besides other ethical an environmental questions.

Pharmaceutical companies have no place in deciding the costs of the medications that are provided, they hike up prices and leave millions unable to buy simple things such as epipens. Physicians are left choice less at times due to the tremendous price markups for consumers.

Allow the government to directly negotiate with the drug companies and cut out the middlemen. The US pays more than every other country largely for this reason. If the R&D costs are too high figure out how to cut costs and/or spread the costs out evenly across the globe #pharma
