But why did #MeToo shy away from the Sexual Assaulter in the White House?

PA law is also horrible on jury selection. Potential jurors are asked if they know anyone who was sexually assaulted-but they are NOT asked if they know anyone who COMMITTED a sex assault. This means unconvicted rapists like Harvey Weinstein can serve as jurors! Shame on PA.

Prosecutor can NOT win. Law in PA for drugging rape is the worst in the nation. Victims must be drugged w/o knowledge OR be unconscious or asleep when rape happens. These facts are not present in Cosby's case. Constand took drugs openly & was frozen but conscious when raped.

I suppose a jury of Cosby's peers would disavow the #MeToo movement.

Nice try New York Times. All of the same media is tying Me Too movement with this trial in your attempt to sway a guilty verdict. So predictable. Every article written says Bill Cosby and Me Too. Wake up people.

But, wasn’t the absence of a strong stance against sexual assault just as much of and more dangerous as a bias?

This whole thing is completely ridiculous. It's absolutely shameful how ppl wait 20-30 years to complain about things that they supposedly found so wrong. But if they were so wrong why didn't they complain about them 20-30 years ago. Then others see $$$ signs & jump on the wagon.

... There isn't a time constraint on people who have been sexually abused to speak out about the abuse they suffered?

My point is if they were really victims why did they wait over 20 years to speak up.
