Everyone wants their children to get a good education, but they often don't want to pay for it. Teaching is a hard and vital job; teachers should be well paid for what they do.

My sister's home schooled their kids... For free. Her kids all graduated at the top of their highschool classes. Not sure why people think teaching is a super power. If it's such a specialty, why is a teaching degree so easily obtainable?

Apparently you never learned in school that adding an 's' to a word to make it plural doesn't require an apostrophe. A good teacher would have made sure you understood that.

Yep. It is BS. I kept my kid home the week of the protests. Told the attendance office he was silently protesting in favor of the second amendment and dared them to give him a single unexcused absence.

The wealthiest country in the world has poorly educated children. We fall behind nearly all industrial countries in stem. Our children deserve better. Time to fund education better, & pay our teacher what they deserve.
