The times have changed for the better, imho. My gay friends are able to marry & I rarely hear 👂 the N word, a hateful word that I heard daily in the 1970s. Just ask Jamie Foxx, formerly Eric Bishop, class of ‘85. #walkTheWalk #IBelieveHer#Impeach45pic.twitter.com/BbeHM57m77 – at Lake Superior

I was stunned. At home on spring break. On returning to campus, attended memorial service at the University's chapel. Living in Deep South, I'd heard the hatred but somehow hoped he would not have to die for standing up to injustice. 1968 wrung the optimism right out of me.

Racism is the stain on the history of our democracy that America has never managed to get rid of. We are that now. VOTE BLUE MAP for equal rights and justice.

I am committed to everyone's free speech. I care deeply about your right to a different opinion. But I also think its important to stand up and march and vote when one feels strongly. President Obama is a great man.

I wasn't on the Earth at that time, but I read a lot about him- without him -it 'd take long time -much more time that a Barack Obama will be an American President. In that Term -he was a real Hero -not only for Americans but for the whole World !!
