Just how useful is that $3,500 smart refrigerator that can beam live images of its contents to your phone?https://nyti.ms/2pVM0KE

If you can't remember what you have in your fridge, you either have too much food there, or you should spend your money on improving your memory.

Not useful. Let them focus on the actual refrigeration and produce a unit that lasts. These new appliances are all style, no substance.

If people need live images of the interior of their fridge, they’re spending way too much time obsessing about things in their fridge...open door, look inside, make list of items needed and go to store. If missed something? Oh well, let’s go do something interesting! Woohoo!

This again? Here's a better question. Can you imagine how much food $3500 can buy for those who need it?

This technology is for people with more money than brains, A total waste of family resources. Take the difference in cost for regular appliances and donate it to the local food pantry or the charity of your choice.

Humbly suggest the fridge is far brighter than the dimwits that would buy one .... could spend $1100 on dumb fridge and have a lot of $$$'s to add contents to said fridge...even a few beers and some sav cab...

Does it pour out the liquified lettuce from the salad crisper and vacuum out the bits of garlic and onion skin? If not, not interested.
