A few Republicans have suggested that firing Robert Mueller would lead to President Trump’s impeachment. But it is anything but clear if that dismissal would have those consequences — or any at all.https://nyti.ms/2JdcbWc

I doubt it would. That would require Republicans to say one of their own did wrong. The current Republican party is simply incapable of that kind of introspection

They really are desperate to stop Mueller to resort to that line. What are they afraid he will find............the truth???

I doubt Trump would be impeached if he fired Mueller. He and the Republicans are busy lining their pockets. There is no way they would turn against him. The country may be in tatters when they are done. But at least they will be rich.

There is no shortcut! Republicans in Congress will take no action to impeach Trump, even if he fires Mueller. Democrats need to limit Trump’s dangerous impulses until 2020. Voters can then get ready to act. It requires a team effort to save America. @ananavarro

if the GOP doesn’t take action over this firing, justice in America is dead.

At this point I actually believe something Dump said. He said he could shoot someone in the middle of Times Square and not lose any followers. (Something to that effect). Why this man (term used lightly) is still in office is beyond me.

The Republicans are out of touch with the American people and what they want the Republicans are corrupt the Republicans lie and the Republicans are putting party before country and they will regret doing that when they are out of power and hopefully in jail
