Since 1851, obituaries in The New York Times have been dominated by white men. Now, we're adding the stories of more women. We’ll be adding to this collection, as Overlooked becomes a regular feature in the obituaries section.https://nyti.ms/2pW96Rc

Please put your orbituary under Creative commons CC-BY-SA-4.0 so it eases writing of these #women biographies into @Wikipedia. ❤🕊 Cc: @lessanspagEs

But are you adding more obituaries of current women as a regular matter? Or just keeping the same white male focus as usual, with some overlooked historical obits thrown in to make you look better?

After reading how nytimes selects their obituaries, I conclude they should altogether drop their obituary section.

Wtf @nytimes you’re fighting bigotry with...bigotry. The arrogance you show through continued identity politics is why media is a dying joke.

This is just another consequence of Americans and movie goers get brainwashed by the sickening defamation by innuendos by movies such as the Last Emperor, where director misled the world what Chinese traditions were and are.

Please correct your statement implying that feet binding is a Confucian tradition. Instead, it's a Manchurian tradition that was considered oppressive and unbearable by most Chinese, invaded by Manchurians. It was one of the rally points to overthrow oppressive Manchurian royalty

Racist headline, all you have to say is you are including more women these in Obituaries these days . Referencing color like it was purposeful in the past based on race was unnecessary. I won’t ever buy your stories.
