So, to be clear, he’s upset because Amazon use a postal service to deliver things? As for taxes - people who live in glass houses etc.

This will only result in Amazon into using there own delivery service effectively crippling the US Postal service in future.

Not a surprise but could be catastrophic for the postal service. Thanks for the article

What else does the USPS do besides deliver stuff? He just has his panties in a twist because Jeff Bezos owns WaPo.

isn't that the entire purpose of a postal system? to deliver stuff

Trump is referring to the fact they don't pay state and local education, property tax etc. You would get from a typical brick and mortar retailer. They happen to use the USPS to achieve this by shipping product from central warehouses. Loopholes.

they dont get a free service from USPS, if not amazon than the customer pays, so i cant see that being a valid argument Fair enough they don't pay enough taxes, Trump would know better than most about tax minimization so im ok with that part

I remember it being a pretty big deal that the post office got the contract amazon. Like, Amazon pays them a whole lot of money.

Yes, but it's the smaller cities and towns that hurt because Amazon doesn't pay any taxes to them, no employment, etc. Difficult problem to solve.
