On the morning after the 2016 election, a group of ABC executives gathered to discuss what the Trump victory meant for the network’s future. 18 months later, the "Roseanne" reboot premiered.https://nyti.ms/2GEUHmV

I’ve never watched an entire episode of Roseanne. I couldn’t stand her voice. She is the Trump stereotype voter, loud and lacking any intelligence. No fan of Roseanne, she insults the human race.

The Middle, that was a brilliant working class sitcom.

I currently watch only 2-ABC shows. Seasons near done. Will boycott ABC. Rosanne Barr is disgustingly rude & anti-Semitic. Will check the show's advertisers & boycott also.

If by "working class" you mean argumentative, fervent Trump supporters, then sure. The show was a twenty-two minute commercial for the Trump administration and nothing more. The writing lacked any kind of humor and substance. No wonder Donnie loved it so much.

I grew up loving Rosanne because it was the only family remotely like mine on tv. I gave the reboot a shot and I thought it was pretty well balanced. Give it a shot before you judge. It tackles other topics like bullying so keep an open mind.

I watched it. I gave it a chance. Kept an open mind. It wasn't funny, Also I felt like I was watching Fox News most of the episode. I guess I just don't see anything humorous about DT and Co.

I get that. I guess I'm a huge John Goodman fan (The kind of dad as a kid I always wanted) so I tried to look at him and the other cast members for entertainment. Idk. Just trying to keep an open mind I guess.

I agree about John Goodman, and he was definitely the only bright spot in the show.

It's a shame the other actors are going to catch backlash for this show. I don't know what to think because I'm a fan of theirs. TV should not be this confusing lol

Roseann is vile trash. She’s about as funny as a bleeding scab. She’s a mirror and role model for all the deluded Trumpkins.

Why should #ABC #promote despicable #Trump through Rosanne? Majority of Americans already get enough of Trump on a daily basis.

Per @snopes @RoseanneOnABC asked to dress as Hitler for the photo shoot because she believes that she is the reincarnation of Adolf Hitler. Yesterday she tweeted in response to a conspiracy theorist attacking David Hogg “Heil Hitler.” @ABCNetwork made her delete it. That it #abc? pic.twitter.com/wDOWHtZwlR

You know, that picture of them on the couch makes me think of the Bunkers in All in the Family. Only back then the audience understood that what Archie was saying was reprehensible.
