An earlier tweet to an earlier version of this story was deleted. It should have clarified that Mr. Clark was shot "from behind or the side."https://nyti.ms/2pVQgts

Why did he run; when will young people learn if police tell you to STOP. Just stop, it’s not hard to obey the law. In other countries this happens all the time. Obey the law people.

maybe they fear unfair treatment of racism? Seems to be self justified...as a court has previously ruled. but yeah... if you run you get shot... 8 times. One cop just needs to yell the magic word: "gun!"

This is just a local matter according to Trump and Sanders. Along with the shooting of dozens of unarmed black men across the country by police. We need a perceptive and honest president and attorney general to stop this murder by cops.

Anyone avoiding comply with instructions given him by police in accordance with police approved procedures can be and must expect to be shot from any angle or any number of bullets as deemed necessary by acting police on circumstances at hand

Did the police release a toxicology report on the man who was shot, or has there been anything released about his mental history? His behavior before the shooting was very erratic and that's not to say it warranted him being shot but there has to be some explanation for it.
