A California judge’s ruling would require cancer warning labels on coffee. The coffee industry is considering how to fight back.https://nyti.ms/2uzPdFi

How about signs in big polluted California cities that say something like, "Breathing the air in this city is known to cause cancer."

You know another chemical that's been linked to cancer in some studies? Oxygen. Getting out of bed is a risk. Staying in bed is a risk. Roll the dice; take your chances.

Well this is awkward... However, a large number of epidemiologic studies (both case-control and cohort studies) in humans have found no consistent evidence that dietary acrylamide exposure is associated with the risk of any type of cancer. Foundhttp://cancer.gov

It was a judge. Hardly "California." But yeah, we're weird about how we keep our environment clean. I guess that's the cost when you're the most beautiful state in the union.

I can’t remember the last business I entered that did NOT have one of those signs. Seems everything causes cancer. Perhaps we should have signs saying places are free from cancer causing chemicals

Anyone who still takes cancer warnings seriously will no longer do so, likely leading to more actual carcinogen exposures.
