The NBA is far more willing to address social issues than other leagues. But the Sacramento Kings' partnership with a Black Lives Matter group is the first of its kind.https://nyti.ms/2GCfIyD

What more is a better platform than Sports. Sports: promoting #zerotolerance on #racism and bullying; advocates #equality and #diversity. Damn right, it should. #SocialResponsibility

Spot on. Change in South Africa, e.g., came in part because the nation was ostracized from international sports competition, including the @DavisCup and @Olympics. @RichardLapchick @NelsonMandela #freedom

Kudos to the @SacramentoKings! Brings back wonderful memories like when @NFL owners such as #JerryRichardson and #BobMcNair took bold, progressive moves to bring people together. I love you, @NBA, more today than yesterday, if that's possible.

Right, they were in Charlottesville being brandished by white domestic terrorists that actually killed a citizen.

I'm glad to see sports teams disrespect half the nation on a regular basis... It lowers their audience numbers, & eventually it will their salaries. It'll be well deserved.

How are they "disrespecting" half the nation? Half of the nation believe unarmed citizens should be killed by law enforcement?

BLM have never murdered cops and just because some idiots use the cover of BLM protests to damage property doesn't mean that BLM endorsed that behavior. Learn facts.

Micah was not a member of BLM. He clearly stated that in his videos. Try again. BLM have never burned down a city that's bombastic hyperbole straight from the propaganda machine. BLM doesn't support violence of any kind including property damage.

Are there? You've seen video of any of the 3 founders of the BLM movement or any other publicly recognized member of BLM causing any of that? Prove it! Or have you seen opportunistic bad apples taking advantage of chaos and/or civil unrest under the guise of protest
