It’s a TV show. The lead actor has different views than you or I. Get over yer badass self. Don’t watch the show.

This is an excellent piece, and to me the most stunning line is this one, summing up the Connor family's votes for Trump: "They act as if love can protect the most vulnerable members of their family from the repercussions of their political choices. It cannot."
-
This cut me DEEP!! It’s so immensely true of white people in my personal life. “We love you and we voted for this man who demonstrably doesn’t want you to live a full safe life”
-
I'm sorry. I can't say I know exactly how you feel, but as a disabled American I have similar feelings. I can't abide that people who have known me all my life voted for this guy and remain silent (1/2)
-
Even though the President and Congress are rolling back our Civil Rights and the President and GOP think it's o.k. for disabled people to die without health insurance to give the richest a tax break.

I can't say I understand your tweet, but it's no joke for sick or disabled people with pre-existing conditions. You voluntarily stopped paying for your health insurance? That's your choice, but that is completely different from not being allowed or able to buy any.

Setting aside Barr's personal views, the character of Roseanne in the original show knew when she was being conned. Today's version doesn't.
-
That's a great way to put it. It's a big reason why Ep 1 didn't work for me. The old Roseanne was always in on the joke, and we could sympathize with her when things went wrong even when it was her fault…because we got the sense she KNEW she'd screwed up. This time…NSM.
