It’s not just Blacks. It’s all people of color. Been with a friend who was pulled over and harassed for driving while Mexican (DWM) on 395. After he was thrown against the side of his truck he was asked if he spoke English. Family Law Attorney w/2degrees from Cal and a JD.

My son is a state trooper. He finds those actions disgraceful. Let's please remember not all police officers are racist asses. They give a bad name to the good cops and they MUST be held accountable!!
-
The good cops need to turn in the bad cops. Otherwise, all cops will be painted with the same brush. Police need to clean up and no longer tolerate this behavior.
-
I am not saying your son is not a good man but for years we have been taught about the noble white cop who will go against the system to protect an innocent even if it meant his life or job because he believes in the community and people he/she took an oath to protect
-
Understood. my son is not white. I raised him with compassion and empathy for all. He sees that as well and would be the first to stand against a cop who misuses their power. There are more good than bad. I feel they must be thoroughly investigated before wearing a badge.
-
Does he believe that blue shield means more than their oath to protect and serve the whole community
-
He is the best! I know...I know...I'm his mom, but he truly is a very unbiased caring young man. I'm proud of who he has become. We need so many more police officers like him!

These bad bad police might not do these things at least as often if they were held accountable. They seem to usually get away with it. That is so wrong.

I’m not shocked at all. I’m outraged and sad all in the same moment. Outraged that this continues to happen today 2018 & outraged that we allow our white privilege to keep us ignorant then feign shock and dismay when it’s in our face. Sad that any fellow American suffers this

I cannot comprehend what kind of society seems to encourage these racist bullies, thank God for the cameras so at least some may get justice violence begets violence and that won’t change until society Changes
-
It seems we now condone and praise this type of behavior
-
Then more of us need to take a stand against it. Society must change or in no time we will have degenerated back to the survival of the fittest and that cannot be allowed to happen
