Never run from the police with something in your hand... this lesson should be taught to everyone. Running from police at night, not stopping and obeying, turning around w/something in your hand is a perceived threat.

Prior to firing 20 shots and killing Stephon Clark, the officers did not identify themselves as police officers. Not very difficult to understand.

Seen these articles. They're limited in scope. First off, when a single population commits the majority of the violent crime & homicide, chances are, they're going to get shot more. Only 16 unarmed black men were shot in 2016. Read about Roland Fryers study.

Why did police charge in in a way that almost guaranteed a tragic end? Instead of IR why didn’t the chopper use a spot light? Instead of rushing in to corner him in a dark yard, why didn’t they surround the house and wait for the chopper team to assess the situation?
