A waiter was fired for being combative, aggressive and something of a bully. His defense? He’s not rude. He’s French and his former bosses are discriminating against his culture and heritage.https://nyti.ms/2usmAd3

I lives an hour from France and went to French restaurants in France for years, and I’ve never met any rude waiter there, not once! Also, most French I know are lovely. This is getting ridiculous!

You can tell “many hilarious & rude stories.” Is there a reason it constantly happens to you ?

I've met numerous French servers that are consistently kind and polite. So, I find this kind of stupid.

Parisians can be rude but hardly all. Outside of Paris, French people are very friendly and unfailingly polite.
