In Opinion, Isabelle Robinson, a senior at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, writes, "The idea that we are to blame, even implicitly, for the murders of our friends and teacher, is a slap in the face to all victims and survivors."https://nyti.ms/2IU9ZTj

He couldn’t even get help outside of jail. So he definitely won’t get any help inside of jail. He needs to be in a mental health facility not jail. It’s where he should have been years ago. Mental health is lacking significantly in this country.

Are you willing to execute him? If not stop using the state to carry out your desire for violence That's what so many people in society want now ...someone else to do the dirty work Personal responsibility for actions or inactions is what is lacking in this whole horrible tragedy

The part where she advocates for students to continue to reach out to lonely and isolates students is bullying? Or just the part where she asks that students not be expected to cure their peers' mental illnesses?

Mental illness can not be "cured" by kindness or made worse by the lack of it. I read the opinion in NYT. I challenge the press to educate people about this. Untreated cancer patients don't kill others but untreated mental health patients can.

It’s not “Trump’s people” who messed up! It’s school administration, it’s police and the FBI for ignoring several warning signs. Put the blame where it belongs!
