They’re not being “attacked”, their ideas are being challenged and criticized. Once you become a public figure and you speak out about a topic you open yourself up to being criticized and called to defend your stance. Just ask @benshapiro when he was 17 and a syndicated columnist

Same people bagged on Hanson and Justin Beiber. It’s only because these kids are feeding into their confirmation bias. Then, they’re beyond reproach. They sure didn’t care for that kid cutting the White House Lawn last summer...

And the NRA didn't sell guns or shoot anybody. So let's not pretend partisans on only one side are doing this nonsense. In fact, it's largely the fringe elements on the Right, while on the gun-control Left it's the kids & their press handlers who are neck deep in it.

The kids and their “press handlers”? The kids are driving this movement which is understandable considering their classmates were brutally slaughtered. And the NRA has stood in the way of any meaningful legislation so yes they are a part of the problem.

I think what you mean is that rich A-list celebs donating an incredible amount of money so they can see their agenda driven forward by using children as their mouthpiece are the driving force of the movement.

Funny considering that much of the money donated has come from rank and file Americans. And even if all the money did come from Hollywood A-listers, the agenda of not wanting children murdered is a pretty sane and worthwhile agenda.

Every killing in those shootings was perpetrated by one of their fellow students. It's not an attack to point out the obvious flaw in their reasoning. Likewise, they are only as wise as their experience, of which they have little. They are putty in the hands of monsters.

Age has little to do with the ability to be putty in the hands of monsters. Look at the most vocal NRA supporters for example.

Ah, your naivete is charming. I never mentioned the NRA. I'm not a member. Never have been. I'm a pacifist, but I have been around long enough to know a propaganda coup when I see one. There is far too much regularity in the selection of perpetrators and victims.

Well, hearing bullets from an assault weapon whizz by your head and seeing your 14 year old classmate in a pool of her own blood on a cold, hard, classroom floor is pretty good “propaganda”. I wish I could say your ignorance and idiocy were charming. No pacifist you

The only reason for anyone to attack them is out of fear and from a position of weakness. What strong adult would ever attack a teenager who had sustained such a loss?

Like that’s obviously not true. Nobody wants kids killed. Saying the NRA kills kids is beyond retarded. And if you plan on making giant speeches like this you will be treated like an adult. And their argument doesn’t hold up.

But the problem with ur statement is the fact that the NRA is indirectly killing kids. They oppose any change to current gun laws, oppose any research on gun violence and really only concern themselves with the profitability of gun manufacturers. R u happy with the way things r?
