Eight years ago, the United States and Russia agreed to a spy swap that sent a Russian double agent to safety in Britain. That former spy and his daughter were poisoned by a nerve agent this month. Why did it happen now?https://nyti.ms/2IWHAMm

Christopher Steele and Skripal were friends. Start there.

That's what makes it strange is that they waited 8 years and it's not like they did have opportunities.

It happens now that Deep-State wants to make sure Trump and Putin does not become best friends because if this ever happens it will disclose all dirty tricks between Obama -Clintons in one side and the Russians on the other side and that could be fatal.

Is it just me or should we believe that Russia, being inexperienced & novice at espionage tried to kill two civilians & failed to kill either 1 & they used an agent with their name on it. How would u like to be the KGB agent that planned that, lol, it's not logical

That is the wrong question. Magnitsky, Nemtsov, Berezovsky, Markelov, Baburova,Estemirova, Politkovskaya, Litvinenko, Klebnikov, Yushenkov etc etc - assassinated in or outside of Russia. Reactions in West? Close to nothing. But now, 22 countries expel 136 Russian diplomats - why?

The fact that almost all these people were killed by the West: Nemtsov was killed while walking with SBU agent Berezovskiy committed suicide after he wrote a letter to Putin asking for Pardon Litvinenko's father says his son was killed by Berezovskiy thug Etc etc etc.

This sort of dezinformatsia and deflection of guilt is expected. The Russian troll farms are in high alert.
