New Orleans Saints cheerleaders have to leave a restaurant if a player comes in. A cheerleader is challenging such team rules.https://nyti.ms/2DXmWYx

Male chauvinism and misogynist practices... again. The Saints are my team. I'm highly disappointed to hear about these slanted rules and guidelines when it comes to the conduct of players and cheerleaders. They're all professionals. They should be equally treated as such.

It was in the contract she signed.. She knew the rules. She's just mad now because she got fired for posting a skanky photo on IG, which goes against the rules.. Also this was in her contract that she signed.

An illegal contract can't be defended. If the contract violates the law and Title 7 the @Saints deserve to be sued, they should know better

The @Saints treat their cheerleaders like it was still 1950. You can't have two sets of rules one for men and one for women.

Because cheerleaders are a dime a dozen. NFL caliber men are not. Duh. Liberals at it again. Guess what the janitor and the ceo have different rules. Janitor can’t use the executive bathroom. So what. It’s obvious.

Sure, you’re less of a commodity as a cheerleader. That doesn’t mean your basic dignity, invasion of privacy, and minimal rights can be incrinfed upon.

They don't get paid much at all though. "She discovered that some NFL cheerleaders make less than $1,000 per year while mascots make as much as $65,000 per year."https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2016/02/04/nfl-cheerleaders-scoring-victories-labor-lawsuits/79821670/ …

It's a billion dollar a year business & the cheerleaders get paid $10 per hour. I don't expect them to be able to retire but 16 years olds make more at McDonald's here than those women that market the NFL after years & years of dance & gymnastics. Sad.

So many limitations to the cheerleaders and yet not for the players? This is not equitable. Not even common sense. And only 4 year limit to work. The men are afraid of the wiles of women? They’re barely paid minimum wage.
