Using young children who don't have a full concept of what it takes to defend against tyranny is the platform of the foolish.

Those kids have a pretty fair idea of what it’s like to do shooter drills and hide under desks. Assault rifles are gasoline to mass shootings.

They also did such for nuclear drills during the cold war and still do for tornadoes, but shouldn't there be more opportunity for teachers that want to, be armed to protect them from an active shooter? I personally would feel safer.

This wasn't a suggestion for those that don't feel comfortable with guns, but for those that are, I would feel safer for them carrying and would advocate for them not having their hands tied defenseless in an active shooter situation.

To all of the young people, register and vote. That's what the NRA fears the most.

That moment when you are protesting to ban guns, giving Trump, the man you hate so much, all your guns. The irony. #StupidKids

Wtf is that supposed to mean? Are you implying that trump is gonna kill all of them with their guns?

No. It means they’re protesting the civilian ownership of guns, but if that happens, the government, with Trump as president, will then have all the guns which will make their violent overthrow of the US impossible

Our future President, I hope. The youth have awakened. The old farts generation who think the only thing that matters is profit are in for a shock.

When I was in school, in the 70s and 80s, we had guys drive to school with rifles on their gun racks, in their truck. Not ONCE did they ever think to shoot up a school. Clearly there is something wrong with kids today and maybe it's more beneficial to work on the soul.

If more guns and less regulations made a country safer then America would be the safest place on earth from gun violence... and it’s not. It’s actually the worst.
