800!?! There is no way high schoolers organize that! Now , this is clear evidence of political organization capitalizing and using these kids to further an agenda. Sad!

I went on my first protest at 17..I was politically aware much younger than that . Be proud your youth are educated and engaged.

If they’re advocating for restricting Fundamantal Human Freedoms they’re NOT “educated” They’re indoctrinated.

Absolutely, I want my teenage kids as well as everyone's to be secure. Thus, hire more armed security. Its is actually the only real-time and concrete way to secure anything. You see that at every bank, gov't building , etc...

So... they don’t have armed security at banks and government buildings in England?? Sounds weird. BTW: How’s that whole “freedom of speech” thing working out for y’all??

Chicago is a city surrounded by areas with weak guns control laws, easy access to anyone in Chicago & proves nothing when it comes to nation way gun regulations. You're using a failed talking point & ignoring all other factors.

Do those places around Chicago with "weak gun laws" also have the same murder rate as Chicago?

Left is smart. For decades adults cldnt win a debate on gun contrl based on facts so now see opportunity to exploit children as thr political props.Professionally organize them, give thm the signs & sayings & great part is -few will challenge them or their facts because thr kids

The US hasn't tried gun control. The facts are there, in other countries where it's proven to work. Some countries haven't had a single gun related murder in years as a result. The fact you think kids getting killed in their schools isn't enough to make a real change is fucked up

Yr facts are coming fr Left & false. If you are really interested in the facts, let me know & I will be happy to forward some good reading w facts. Regardless- OUR Founding Fathers gave us right to bear arms to afford ppl to fight back agsnt a yrannical govt- tht hasnt changed

Your founding fathers did that when guns could fire 1 lead ball every 30 seconds and were as accurate as catapulting dog shit. My facts are not left, centre or right. They are from every country in the world who ban firearms and have orders of magnitude less deaths than the US

Founding Fathers gave us right to fight oppressive Govt. To do so, as there weapons become more sophisticated so does the need for the peoples - common sense. Today people have at best semi automatic weapons vs Govt automatic weapons - not equal.

Yep, you hold on to your idea that one day you might have to fight an oppressive government. Because of that, children are dying in a place they should feel safe. Gun proliferation results in murders. It's literally that fucking simple. Don't bother replying. You're blocked.
