I don't, how about just ending the bias in coverage? How hard is that to do? In America it shouldn't be an automatic pundit jump that if a person is brown they are automatically a terrorist, or automatically asking the question "was it terrorism" then black people shouldn't be

hmmm, I welcome this introspection. Used to feel the NYT was a go-to source. I now will read NPR or other sources first. In some cases, the difference is glaring, in others, your coverage is outstanding. Not sure what contributes to this but you are losing readers and credibility.

Maybe because print journalism is antiquated and those still under its employ are equally antiquated? Are the tacit biases expressed by NYT an indication of stagnating culture at the paper? If I were a talented young, socially-conscious writer would I want to work @nytimes today?

I rarely acess print editions so do not consider them print journalism. I have always relied on NYT for good solid coverage but something is amiss lately. I think they easily attract young talent or did.

Please just hire a writer of color to take care of this properly instead of asking an audience that's getting tired of pointing out your errors to ears that don't listen.

The title of your story is a prime example of your bias. Instead of "white Christian male", it should read White supremacist TERRORIST. Why couldn't you print That? But if he were poc whether true or false you'd have his rap sheet since kindergarten.

There is a consistent racial bias in your coverage of victims and perpetrators of crimes. I also find the sympathetic tone of pieces on white supremacists and evangelicals disturbing.
