I worked in flood control in Houston, and studied flooding in houston in college. I am BLOWN AWAY that houses IN THE RESERVOIR werent in the floodplain. Shame on Fort Bend County for allowing development there. Even thoughtful buyers with honest realltors would be tricked.

I visited there some years ago & my relatives told me they were living in a flood plain. I was stunned..why would anyone live there? Build there?

Most of the inner city is in the floodplain. If youre gonna live in Houston, youd better have flood crisis plan!
