        We need to tax the corporations for this. Also make it mandatory that plastic bottle and jars cannot be used and that the glass ones have to be recycled.

        Thank you for your response, I have been following this story for more than 6 years, since I first heard of it. Please help me get the word out. Boats and dredges would vastly increase the fossil fuel consumption as well as labor costs. I really think this young gentleman,-->

        2. And his team have the most economical solution, and they are very close to full deployment already. I believe I read they are in final assembly, I will rt in a minute I just have to find it...

        Here are solutions: don't buy plastic containers, ask for paper bags, buy a metal drink cup, once a month organize you friends pick a stretch of beach or a few blocks and pickup trash, and buy fast food that comes in recyclable containers.

        Less that 30% of what Americans place into recycling bins is actually recycled. Most goes into landfill.

        As a country and as a planet, we should be doing whatever possible to start drastically reducing our use of non-biodegradable materials and packaging. This is not going to go away.
